The Root: Leading with Presence + Moving from Fear to Trust
The Functional Body and Yoga for Balancing and Grounding + Embracing Bravery
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 12, 11am-1pm EST
The Sanskrit name for the Root chakra is Muladhara which means “root support” and it’s located at the base of our spine—between the perineum and the pelvic bone. It is associated with the earth element, and it helps you ground through your legs and your feet. With this chakra, there’s a sense of structure that allows us to feel centered. It pulls our body into the here and now, providing us with the stability we need to deal with physical and emotional experiences. The elements of the root connect to our core identity, as well as our sense of safety, self-defense, boundaries and belonging.
How does this chakra show up in your life and your leadership? During the live workshop we will learn about the chakra from a functional medicine perspective, explore our unique leadership strengths and where there could be overuse or underuse, and participate in live experiential practices to embody our learnings and bring this powerful chakra into balance.
ROOTSilience Leadership is offered by Essential~Wholeness, a NBHWC Approved Continuing Education Provider. NBC-HWC health coaches can earn up to 14 CEU’s by completing the full ROOTSilience Leadership Series; individual workshops offer 2 CEU’s each.
